Horror

Horror is under the genre of science fiction. Horror is a feeling, a uncomfortable feeling which cause discomfort and by frightful events, movies, pictures, etc. Horror causes humans to feel terrified, shock and scared. This horror feeling usually caused by wars, murder, looting or anything this might cause harm to us. Horror is an emotional feeling in us, horror is known for being evil, bad and terrifying. Horror is a related to my course, which is games design and development. Games designers create a game which are quite popular today, it is known as horror. Some games are Fear2, Silent Hill, Resident Evil and Doom 3, horror games somehow always attract more people by horror. Since games have a genre to horror, it is known as fiction. Even though have always been known to be a bad thing, however when it comes to movie videos and games, it is the contrary. Horror game and movie videos are often entertaining because of the thrill and excitement which many people enjoy. But still horror games and films might still be dislike by other because of the unpleasant discomfort cause by it. Our group “Unrage” is creating a game call Purge. Purge is a horror game, which is a game under the horror genre. Purge is a game which creates a horror feeling by the introducing of zombies to player. Darkness is a main point for the cause of horror, imagine if you are in a dark room, where you could not see anything, will it cause fear to you? To make it more thrilling, you are stranded in the hospital alone without light and filled with zombies! This few conditions cause fear to players. In conclusion, horror is more of a thrill which can have negative effect or positive effect on viewer depend on their liking.
