Aliens and alien invassion

­Alien are known as E.T. (Extra-Terrestrial), they are existing species outside of our planet earth. There are many stories and believe that one day, these aliens from out of space will invade and take over our home planet. Aliens are actually a great topic for books and movies, for example movies like Alien Vs Predators, Chicken Little, E.T., and etc. Many other movies involves alien invasion, which is also a common goal in games. As a game designer, we have to make use of the “alien invasion” to enable a goal in the game. Aliens have many different features, and always weird feature that are different from us beings. Many designs of alien features are created from tentacles to big eyes, studying the alien design which can enhance the horror in the game by the appeal of it. Aliens are under the science fiction horror genre for film and games. For our group work, we involve zombies, scattered around the broken down hospital. The player is to escape of the hospital and avoid all the dangerous zombies, however the players is left with only a limited amount of flare sticks. “Aliens and alien invasion” is a good reference and inspiration to create a better horror games. Zombies similar to aliens are horror looking and scare the players, they are both that all players wants to avoid when they are in the game. In our game, the goal is to avoid the zombies, the motive of the zombie is to devour humans; the player. The idea of the players getting attack by the zombies is very similar to aliens invading our planet, because when the aliens attack us, they have a motive too, but the goals are different, the zombies wants to feast on humans, but the aliens attack us just to invade and take over our planet. In conclusion, aliens can be a great idea and inspiration in making games, because aliens can be very interesting topic because people want to know more on these creatures.
